In 2019, before the coronavirus hit, I spent a year traveling around much of the world: India, Vietnam, Cambodia, U.A.E, Istanbul, Eastern and Western Europe, Morocco, Great Britain, Ireland and Scotland.  II was a  departure from making collages, At the end of the day I made a drawing on my iPad. The drawings were occasionally representational, but mostly abstract which allowed me to riff on an image, like a mountain, a raindrop, or just fun shapes. This is only a portion of the hundreds of nightly drawings I have made to date and continue to make as a regular nightly practice.
